If you want an attractive and durable kitchen scale, this is the one for you. The base is heavy enough to really handle any job. Yet the footprint is small.
Here are a few of the things I love about these scales in addition to the above.
1. You can weigh in grams or ounces or both.
2. You can put a large dinner plate on the scales and easily see the display.
3. You can easily set the display to zero while any size container or plate in on the scales — thus only weighing the contents on the plate or in the container.
4. The scales tell you the exact weight as you add food to the container.
5. The weight is accurate.
The information that comes with the unit is quite useless. But there’s not really much to know or do. Just take out the red strip in the battery compartment so your battery will work. That’s all there is to it.
If you need to weigh food for any reason, this is the best buy for you. I went to Target looking for another scale. They didn’t have it so I opted for this one over several others they did have. I’m glad I did.

I loved the way this scale looked. It has a very small footprint on the countertop and the fact that it weighs in grams and ounces was a big plus. Unfortunately I found that this scale lacked accuracy. I found if I weighed the same food I got widely different values. This was particularly noticeable when adding food to the scale while measuring. For example if I put a bowl on the scale and hit “tare” the weight instead of going to “0″ is bouncing. If I can get it to “0″ and begin adding items to the bowl the weight is so variable that I find myself weighing over and over again with different results.
I’m back today to find another scale. Unfortunately this one was a disappointment.
