Not a bad looking scale with the wood highlights and the glass platform. Will agree with the other reviewer…tapping the platform to turn it on rarely works. I found it easier to put a toe under the front edge, lift 1 – 1 1/2 inches off of the floor and drop!!! Fairly accurate (wish the numbers weren’t so high!!!)

This is a very nice scale and it seems to be very accurate. The only complaint that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the fact the the “tap” to turn it on is more like a “kick start”. You have to be pretty firm but other than that I like it.
